Don't forget, abregu back next year

The Argentinian brawler comes back next year and he's with top rank. How do you think he'll fit in with arums plans?

You know what? This isn't a bad fight! I wouldn't mind seeing Wale Omotoso again either. Should put him in there with Brook and see how Brook handles punchers.

TR has the poor mans version of Lucas and Marcos. I like Abregu though. Would like to see him fight a little more.

Abregu vs Ruslan would be great @ 147.

abregu will probably get some easy showcase fights on TR undercards, and then later in the year, most likely get rios or alvardo at welter....

Top rank is strapped in terms of ready-made talent,, they have a bunch of young guys, but they are low on current contenders at that weight,,, I think they will build Abregu with some easy showcases, and then a shot rios/alvardo, then in 2015 probably some bigger names if he abregu looks good...

Would love to see him vs thurman, but thats not getting made anytime soon

Always felt like he was a little underrated (good win by Timmy btw), I recall a lot of people picking Decaire to beat him. I thought Decaire was being overrated so I picked Abregu comfortably. Anyways, I'm looking forward to Abregu's return myself.

he'll be there to move very good young fighters, and to allow established guys to get an opponent for TV. ask thomas dulorme if that argie can fight. you'd better be a legit prospect to beat him.

he'd be a very entertaining comeback for rios. if rios can't beat that argie he's all done at 147 and in his career.

argies are tough as all get out.

argentina consumes more beef per capita than any other nation. they got that argie beef eating strength.
