The WBC Board of Governors has finished its voting procedure to determine the steps to fill the heavyweight world championship after Vitali Klitschko has been confirmed as WBC Emeritus Champion while he focuses on his political campaign for the presidency of Ukraine.

It has been decided to order immediate free negotiations between No. 1 ranked contender and WBC Silver world champion Bermane Stiverne and No. 2 ranked contender and WBC International champion Chris Arreola for the vacant WBC heavyweight world championship.

Finally Stiverne gets hist due shot at the title. I hope DK doesn't screw him out of this as that will be really f'd up. I think Stiverne has a lot of potential and will do great if he is allowed to focus.

Stiverne and Don King have made peace, fighter's manager says, and they want Arreola in Montreal, NY or Toronto.

In the first fight it seemed like Arreola never really recovered from the broken nose that happened in the third round. He declined a lot after that. If Stiverne doesn't injure Arreola again, the second fight's result could be a lot different...

I think Arreola wins this rematch. He'll be highly motivated to avenge his loss and win the belt.

If Stiverne wins, there will be no unification with Wladimir because of Don King. So I'm hoping Arreola pulls it off.

Could it be Don King is about to yet again have a piece of a heavyweight title? Well even that is actually better than it being held ransom by the Quitchkos and their deep pockets. When Don gets that belt, Wladiturd can forget about ever getting a shot. Haye will be back though to claim what is rightfully his. The Crown.

Thats a legit fight for the vacant strap

                    stiverne earned his shot

Fury, Aerrola, Pulev were all good candidates

Stiverne-Aerreola 2 will be a fun fight, the first one was aerrola started strong early, but then getting dropped with a huge punch that shattered his nose and he was never the same..It was an entertaining fight, and i wanna see how it will play out again, if aerrola can avoid having his nose demolished.. Should be a good scrap IMO
