It seems like everyman and his dog is after that belt in a scene reminiscent of a heavyweight gold rush. Stivern, Wilder, Fury, Chris 'pass the corona' Arreola. What really annoys me though is nobody is rushing after the IBF, WBC and WBO titles.

That's because they would actually have to face the heavyweight champion of the world.

Now I'm no fan of vlad, but you have to respect his position. And in this case I'm really disappointed that these guys are trying to duck the best in their division. None of them deserve to be called a champion and I hope that vlad gets the shot so we can move closer to having one champ for each division.

did you ever think that the guys you mentioned, especially stiverne and arreola are the top ranked guys in the 'bc? besides. ftp vlad, no one want to be man hugged and jabbed all night. cat is HORRIBLE to watch. might as well put him, rigo and ward on a ppv, im sure it would sell millions

all of those guys were trying to fight vitali before he let the belt go. some of them even said they hoped they would get a chance to fight wlad or vitali as opposed to winning a vacant title. at the same time it looked like vitali would never give them a shot, he was too focused on his political career yet not quite ready to give up his belt. these guys were just sitting around waiting for him to make up his mind, now he has and they finally get their chance. someone has to fight for that vacant title and naturally they are jumping at the chance to get a titleshot. i dont see how nyone can blame them fro that, again, they wanted it just as bad when big vit had the title. more if anything.
