Probably right. If GBP and HBO ever patch things up I see a lot of fighters from TR jumping ship to GBP in the future including Donaire and possibly Pacquiao who tried to sign to GBP in the past before TR got invovled. It's probably why TR has been signing fighters an extending contracts left and right lately to sure up business for at least a couple more years but GBP is the future of boxing...

I've always thought old Bob would make sure Cotto gets paid more fighting Martinez than Canelo. Not saying the Martinez fight is better or bigger but Cotto stands at a much better chance beating Martinez than Canelo imo. Although money is important to any fighter, but legacy and health plays big factors as well. Cotto is a HUGE draw, him and Martinez will hit over a million buys mark my words. I do think that a Cotto/Canelo is potentially wayyyy bigger but let Cotto get this Middleweight strap first and hype it up a bit.

If Martinez-Cotto generates like 550k buys at $60, that's $33M in just PPV revenue, not to mention the gate. I don't see why it's so implausible for Cotto to get $10M out of that.

Cotto ain't gonna be a big star again, he's had his short time and game over, he's another Shane Mosley now so don't what the big deal is. Martinez should be fighting bigger names ie canelo and viva versa. Don't get why these 2 r chasing cotto, a meaningless fight.
