Not impressed by Thurman's skills don't think he will amount to anything. I just don't think he has what it takes. First step up fight Thurman gets beat

This guy is so well protected that he has yet to fight a B-class fighter. The only place he is on the verge of stardom is on message boards like this that includes a lot of posters who have very limited boxing knowledge.

Big James, If what Cold Cash just said is true, you should log off now. Cause no one who picked Broner to beat Maidana could possibly talk $h!t about Thurman.

He's been moved along fine. In 2013, he fought two veterans and an undefeated contender. He was supposed to fight Maidana last year, but Chino decided to fight Karass instead. Maidana will be the B-class opponent that will take Thurman to the next level.

thurman is a very good welterweight.

he's mentally tough, and he's a very good boxer / puncher.

i need to see more to say that i'm totally sold, but so far so good. he's a promising young contender with an exciting style. kids like him are great for boxing.

chino and his team were smart not to take that fight. thurman moves well and has power. he's an awful style for maidana.
