LOL its unfortunate that he has both hats on (fighter/promoter) so he has to think both sides out but any businessman understands that you have to maximize your revue because the Well dries quick in pro sports. I don't believe for a second that he's scared of any fighter out there, I do believe that it'll take a desperate situation for him to want to work with a guy who's a snake & didn't believe in his star power potential. There's a reason Oscar & May left TR.

As for that Showtime contract...when you're being paid that kind of gwop, opponents have to have something to bring to the table to push ppv #'s...not just "oh he's tough"...there's a difference between HBO/SHOWTIME fights & PPV fights. I wish he could fight EVERY guy out there that's considered a threat but I understand why he does what he does...fans turn on fighters quick, everybody is either a bum, overrated or considered "not ready" so he should just do what he wants because whoever he fights, it'll never be enough.

i think his next fight bombs if he doesnt fight a big name, or a mexican.
mexican are crazy mang, they love their boxing huuuge following, especially with mayweather always fighting on mexican holidays and against mexicans his past few opponnents : Ortiz/Guerrero/Canelo.
i say it bombs if its Khan, Garcia,
Maidana might do some numbers cuz he beat lil bro

Floyd has done great in convincing the casual fan that being undefeated means something. His marketability is directly tied to his undefeated record, which is why he won't fight a real threat to that "0."

Right. I'm not sure if I understand the intent for releasing this video. Just to tell us that he wants to make a fight that makes business sense? Hell, I appreciate him keeping his name and face in front of boxing fans, but at least make a little news.

A fight with Pacquiao don't make business sense but a fight with Kahn does???

What i cant understand is that this guy is still fighting Champions and multiple division world champions at times and even that isn't good enough. If he fought Pac tomorrow some of u same haters still would not give him credit if he beat him and I say if only because in a fight anything can happen. Amir Kahn is not a bum. Is he the best choice as far as the toughest choice, no. But he has established himself with a good fan base and like him or not makes for pretty exciting fights. U haters are gonna miss Floyd when he's gone because like it or not He still brings more attention to this sport than all other fighters combined!
