What the Texas commission should look into is the horrible job Lawrence Cole performed during the fight.

Broner using his elbows all night without a point deduction, and a blatant punch AFTER the bell sounded in the eleventh.

Not the first time Cole's pathetic performance has come into question. When your daddy is head of the TX athletic commission, this is the kind of c level ref we end up with for a main event.

If anything it was probably smelling salts or a ammonia inhalant to bring a dazed or unconscious person out of a stupor, nothing more(After the very late shot at the end of Rd 11). There was no pills given, I am almost positive of that. I have looked at the corners work although we really don't know for sure, as the entire minute is not visible.

Broner got his ass handed to him throughout the fight although I did give him props for answering the bell till the end. He did try to fight back, and won maybe 3 rds.(Being kind with that many) The blue print has been set, we have seen the last of Broner unless he goes back to fighting cab drivers as he did before Maidana or Malignaggi..

Smelling salts are illegal man. That's what the hoopla is about (yes even in TX).

Broner got whooped and he must be commended for still going out each round (altho he did want out in the 8th rd). For people to throw stuff at him when he left the ring was just terrible. The dude just put his life on the line for our entertainment.
