Canelo sounds desperate, and doesnt seem to realize that his 15 minutes of fame at the top level of the sport is over as soon as he fights molina or lara

Floyd already undressed him and proved he isnt an elite fighter,,

Canelo is young and he lost to Floyd because he lacked experience. fk some Floyd fans talk about Canelo gettin a beat down and Canelo was never even hurt in the fight. A beat down is what you saw Broner get this past Sat and a ko is what Manny got from Marquez.

Canelo would have fought Cotto if GB hadn't made it possible with the scoring in the Trout/Cotto fight. I think just about every promotional company has stuck their dirty little hands in a fight to make sure a certain fighter wins at one time or another. But GB knew Canelo couldn't beat Cotto because he's all hype & no bite....

I prefer a Cotto/Canelo bout. But I think the that the Cotto camp are taking on Martinez on the right time. If Cotto loses and depends how he loses he still might be viable for a Canelo fight

at the right time yes..Martinez will be 39,coming off surgery and over a year without fighting,who wouldn't pick on someone like that?

I kinda disagree. Yes Martinez's legs might be gone and Cotto's pressure might be too much for him, but what if it's not. Martinez is the type of fighter who seems to always find a way to pull it off. If Cotto loses I doubt he will be offered 10 mil to fight Canelo. I feel like Cotto vs Canelo is a 50/50 fight so why not take the payday and if he pulls it off fight Martinez at MSG in the fall.
