I also think that more people are like the TS than not. That's why boxing is mostly a niche sport. A lot of times when I watch fights with my friends they are shocked when they show the unofficial weights and see how small these guys are. They have no real sense of what weight classes are.

Anyway I like 140-175 the most because it requires more attributes than just size, length, and power. It requires you to have more speed, skill, better chin that your opponent. SInce they are closer to the same size it makes it more like the "sweet science" to me.

Good fighters yes, but do those fights really matter? Obviously if any of them went up against even a low level heavyweight boxer, they would get demolished in the very first round.

It's hard to get into boxing knowing that the fighters in the lower weight divisions are not the real champions of boxing. The heavyweights are.

        Thoughts?

          Agree somewhat
If weightclasses and the P4P list didnt exist people would be saying "Floyd who?". Weight divisions were invented to give smaller fighters a platform to become PPV stars and generate more money for the sport as a whole.
Weight divisions give fighters like Pacquiao and Mayweather prestige, but in reality you can hardly call them champions just because they can beat everybody under 160lbs.

There is only one champion in the world of boxing and thats Wladimer Klitscko, you put Floyd or Pacquiao in the ring with him and suddenly the word P4P becomes meaningless.

I like all classes between 140 and heavyweights! But there is only one fighter below of 140 pounds that i care about and that is Rigo. Right now 147, 154 and 175 are the best divisions IMO. The heavyweights are bad but they are getting better! I think they are better now than 3-4 years ago. And they will get even better in the coming years, especially when the other *****ko will be gone too.

The heavyweight division is sort of irrelevant at the moment. No one really great in it. The biggest drawn fights of the year, and the biggest purses of the year are coming from those "unimportant" weight classes. Worst thread I've seen in awhile and thats saying a lot considering there was one saying is Pac the greatest catch weight king of all time and is Floyd the biggest cherry picker of all time....in the same thread.

Is it possible for BS to rethink it's policy and ban the TS for stupity?

I like the division between Welterweigth and Heavyweigth, specially 147 and 160.
