Pacquiao: ‘No way at 132 lbs.’

Pacquiao: ‘No way at 132 lbs.’

    By nick giongco

MANNY PACQUIAO is more than willing to square off with Erik Morales for the third time in September, but it will have to be at the agreed weight of 130 lbs.

Informed about the much-awaited rubber match that Top Rank has already announced, Pacquiao told the Bulletin yesterday that it will have to be at 130, not at 132 lbs.

"Humahanap sila ng paraan (para makabawi sa akin)," Pacquiao said yesterday after attending Sunday services in his native General Santos City.

"Ano sila, hilo?" added Pacquiao, who mauled Morales so bad in their rematch last Jan. 19 that ringsiders thought the Mexican would soon announce his retirement.

Maybe he should have turned down his first shot at a legit world title like a real man.

The weight was agreed upon as 130. I see no problem with this.

Well, Pacquiao holds the cards, its his way or the highway. If Morales is afraid to MAKE 2 pounds, he can stay knocked out and get shut out by Zahir Raheem. Morales fears Pacquiao, but even more pathetic is his fear of Raheem. For a Mexican Great to lose to a mediocre American is really humiliating.

eh, if hes not comfortable i guess its up to him. itd be a shame for him to skip up in weight and get beaten by bigger guys right now. i figure once he's established more dominance over the lower weight classes, he should move up. till then, stay where hes comfy.

"Humahanap sila ng paraan (para makabawi sa akin)," - They're (Morales' camp) looking for whatever means to get back at me!

"Ano sila, hilo?" - Are they out of their mind?
