Nothing against floyd but a bs fight is a bs fight.
And yea he was #3, remember Manny would fight Shane during that time due to what he did to Margarito?

Freddie Roach: Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter

also floyd deserved a top spot in the p4p rankings because of his past accomplishments, pac however was coming off a loss to jmm.

I do agree that floyd didn't deserve to be tied by manny for #1 because of his win over jmm
He wasnt. Floyd was #2 after he beat jmm. He became #1 after beating shane.
I remember making a point back then saying : "how can shane (#3) or Floyd(#2) reach #1 if #1 refuses to fight them" This is when pac pulled out to fight clottey, and roach told shane he was too good.

Anyone who thinks Arum/Pacquiao aren't business first as well are either full of it or delusional beyond belief.

Floyd is world famous for rarely fighting P4p fighters.....Canelo, Guerrero and Ortiz case in point. Pac fighting JMM, Bradley and then JMM proves Pac tests himself routinely every fight almost.

When Floyd once in a lifetime fights a p4p fighter it is against old past it fighters like SSM who didn't deserve the p4p rating and only got it on the basis of beating Margarito who people rubbish anyway.

Please, fool. Mosley was over the hill but Marquez wasn't? If Mayweather fought the same Marquez of late 2011/2012 , he wouldn't get the least bit of credit even though unlike Pac he'd thoroughly beat him.

Canelo isn't no10 p4p of course on the basis of only having beat Trout. Which shows Floyd never fights great fighters.

Pac fought JMM, Bradley and then JMM again, with 1 year and a half. Floyd would never and has never worked that hard.

SSM just wasn't a p4p fighter, whereas JMM is that's the difference. When Floyd fought JMM he came in over the limit and bloated JMM, JMM wasn't proven at 140, let alone 147. So again Floyd doesn't fight p4p fighters, and if he does it is rare.
