Because if bombs worse on PPV than Guerrero may have, it's just the nature of the beast. Lara is a more realistic option if he beats a Canelo Alvarez. And that fight happens this year 100% so long as both win their next fight or two.

No, but if you truly believe Lara-Floyd sells more than 600-700K PPV's, well then.....I guess you have.......lets say, wishful thinking.

C'mon man. I like Lara-Floyd as a boxing fan and purist, but to expect that is unrealistic.

Khan v Mayweather will do double what Bradley vs Pacquiao will.

floyd does not wanna fight pacquiao. he always downgrades him.

he is gonna fight amir khan who has lost 2 out of his last 4 fights and got a very close decision in his last fight but then says he is not gonna fight pacquiao because he has lost 2 of his last 3 fights. most people think he beat bradley anyway and to quote floyd before fighting judah "we dont count split decisions".

he says khan makes business sense and has big uk fan base. i was at his fight in vegas vs danny garcia and i saw a few khan fans who had pakistan t-shirts. most the people in the crowd were mexican. no-one came to vegas from uk specially to see khan fight. And pacquaio fight obviously makes more money than khan fight.

floyd thinks he can beat pacquaio but doesn't wanna fight him because he knows he would have to train harder than he has ever done, he might get hit more than ever and he might get robbed and be on the bad end of a decision in a fight where pacman is throwing more punches but floyd is catching and avoiding a lot of them but these corrupt and inept judges score the rounds in favour of pacman.

I do believe Floyd/Lara does better than Floyd/Ghost. I also believe that the majority of people here would agree with me. make a tread and poll it.

most the people that buy PPV in the US are of mexian background so they would be more likely to buy floyd- ghost who is mexican rather than floyd/lara.

if you do a poll in a boxing forum, as hardcore boxing fans, we know lara fight would be more competitive and would wanna see it more. so doing a poll doesn't accurately reflect ppv buys. we make up a small % of those buying ppv.

lara - floyd will never happen. it wouldn't be an action-packed fight, lara is not known enough and it is a high-risk fight for floyd against a guy who has an cuban boxing background, has more reach than floyd, is a southpaw, has very good movement, is very confident right now, has some power, has heart as shown vs angulo, has a good trainer in shields, very composed, has experience of going against different styles etc

The last paragraph is thee only realistic reason why the fight won't happen. Because Floyd/Lara sells you don't have to create any reason why the fight is worth it. Put up lara'a 2 last performances. That's all you need. Let the public see those.
