Their demeanor is similar in a couple of ways.

One being that Thurman doesn't fear anyone and consistently wants to fight the best with no excuses being made for him. He's not looking to duck anyone.

He loads up too much on his punches trying to be exciting that is probably going to be his undoing, but other than being fun to watch the two don't have much in common.
