Why do slick fighters get hated on so much?

First of all, there's nothing slick about broner. He got punched in the face repeatedly by lil gavin Reese and paulie malignaggi. Even Maidana the caveman was able to repeatedly rock his world.

Now why do real slick fighters get hated on so much? Because they try to limit the action. The less fighting they have to do the better. From an entertainment standpoint it sucks. 80% of their game plan is playing spoiler and making their opponents miss while doing just enough to win a points decision. I must give credit to paulie though. He can't crack an egg but at least he let's his fists fly for 12rnds.
