Huh? You just wrote a paragraph of de****able action and you say you respect him for them. That makes no sense. And if he had any ring IQ he would have used his Jab and his feet more than his ability to bend the rules and get away with them.

They aren’t in the same bracket at all except the hype bracket. Both guys were crowned as something before they actually proved themselves and got exposed. Matthysse is definitely respectable and has class, Broner on the other hand…..

Please don't put Broner together with Matthysse. Matthysse is a damn good fighter who would have a good shot at beating Garcia in a rematch. He is also a respectful person and a class act. Broner is the biggest A hole in boxing and he would not do any better in a fight with Matthysse than he did with Maidana.

Or should we take in consideration what they are doing with their position in order to give them our respect?

I believe a person earns his respect with his actions, not with his position. Regardless of the field he is in.
          Very well said bro!

Broner is a good fighter as well, I can’t deny that, but both guys were exposed, thats where the comparison comes in. And I still love to jab at the Matthysse fans any chance I get, whether its played out or not.

Do you guys remember how bad they were for the past year and a half?

Broner showed more heart than i thought he had but he also showed that he was looking for a way out.

I respect anyone who gets in the ring as a fighter but it doesnt mean i have to respect them as a person.

He is an absolute turd of a human being in a lot of aspects. Some of it is old and im not wanting to discuss it, some of it is new. He isnt a role model for anyone.

He believed his own hype and disrespected boxing with the Escebode incident and tweeting pics of snacks he was eating etc... There is worse than that but im not one for doing charachter assasinations online..

He is just a flat out spoiled arrogant child who thought he was the 2nd coming an took maidana lightly

In my opinion Broner desserves to be criticized not credited for his performance on Saturday night. What Broner did was a disgrace to our great sport of boxing because a true warrior doesn't display the antics used by Broner before, during, and after the fight. A respectable fighter doesn't elbow, clinch, tie his opponents arms, push, shove, flop, and hump his way through 12 rounds. A respectable person doesn't act like a clown when everything goes their way and then hide like a coward when something doesn't.

Perfectly said, all the humping crap was a disgrace.
