Is his career over? It will really depend on how he reacts to this humiliating loss. Some guys never recover mentally. True champions dust themselves off and move on. From what I've seen, I don't expect Broner to recover fully. He's already planning a Tuesday party in Cincinnati.

One more bad loss in his next one or two fights would end his career. I say 1 or 2 because the guy he fights next will be a cab driver or journeymen and after that it will be a step up.

Broner has issues upstairs. He might not be done from a physical standpoint but mentally, a blow like this to his ego will eat at him constantly. He'll blow up in weight and probably start getting into trouble or doing crazy stuff...TMZ, here we come.

Will it ruin him? Maybe. He seems like he might not have the right mindset to get over this.

          He should:
          1) Heal up.
          2) Shut up.
2 b) Use the 'shut up' time to rethink that attitude / persona before you get sack beaten by an angry mob.
          3) Figure out if he wants to commit to boxing.
          3 b) Commit to boxing
          4) Get down a weight division.
          5) Take a confidence builder.
          6) Start doing next steps and not go back up in weight for a while.

This set him back a year if he handles it right. He's only done if he handles it wrong.

You have many points for such a young account. How did you come about so many in such a short span of time?

Yes, for a couple reasons. He showed he can't adapt to adversity. He has demonstrated he will never be able to effectively use lateral movement.

The blue print to beat him has been laid out, I doubt that blue print will ever not work.

He is to arrogant, he will never accept that there was a flaw in his skill set that resulted in him losing. He will find something trivial to blame it on.

Hes done as an elite level fighter.

I don't think its over, it just wont be what he thought it would be. He will probably still make good money and win some fights but I think he will be avoiding the hard punchers from now on, Maidana hurt him quite a few times and he will not want that to happen again if he plans on getting back on track.
