Leo Santa Cruz is awesome, he put on a great performance against a very good opponent on Saturday and then even apologized to the fans in the post fight interview because he wasn't satisfied with his own performance. Which means that he's always pushing himself to be better and better and to fight to entertain the fans which that alone speaks volumes about his warrior mentality. Always happy to watch him get inside the ring and I will be looking forward to February 15th even more now that he will be in the card.

Who is really his mandatory though, Mijares or Cazares? I've read articles on here saying that each of them is his mandatory. Well, I hope he fights whoever his mandatory is, and then steps up in class in his next fight to a title unification maybe.

people say he needs to step up,there really is nobody there but Frampton,rigo and him won't ever fight if rigo stays with top rank,thats just how it is,but it doesn't matter because i'd rather see santa cruz over rigo any day,as do the majority of the fans,and no he doesn't have to move up,i like to see a champ defend titles many times,others have stayed in the weigh classes for years,just as long as were able to see him fight that's great

Totally forgot about Moreno. He and his camp mentioned Santa Cruz as a real possibility now that Kameda dropped the belt and out of the purse bid against Moreno. Be a nice addition to Mayweather's May 3rd card.

Moreno just went back to 118,i think Moreno might beat him,santa cruz doesn't pressure like mares did against Moreno,and mares stubbornly is at 126,santa cru said he would fight twice at 122 or just fight there the whole year,hopefully Frampton gets the opportunity
