I fought amateur for around 8 years i had my pro debut and two other matches... then i stopped and wasnt sure if i was coming back.
But then i met a great trainer named sendai tanaka and started working with him and his fighters, its been a great experience so far and i have been in the corner of his guys, a couple of big events too, i also help them with diet and strenght and conditioning exercises etc... ( i studied nutritonal sciences ) and just love the feeling of it, i am still young and i am a very hardcore boxing fan so I wish i can take this further and maybe someday become a fulltime boxing trainer.
BTW this is in mexico.Comment

Had some amateur fights on the undercards of professional promotions with a view to maybe trying out the pro game, & one of my trainers was a promoter.
Decided it was too much hard work/risk....
You've got to spend years building up in small shows/undercards with little reward and no guarantee you are ever going to make it to the serious stakes. & make a decent living out of it.
Lot of admiration for the guys that keep at it, but the constant training was too tough for me, so it's more of a hobby these days to keep in shape.Comment
