You people come up with the weirdest of comparisons. How do you compare 2 fighters fighting different guys exactly??

Now if you were comparing 2 fighters performances against the same guy, I'd understand. But 2 fighters who fought different guys in different weight classes with different rankings is.................strange to say the least.

Danny since Matthysse was the second best in his weight class. I never heard of the other bum before and haven't seen him since.

Diamond in the rough, far from a bum. Diego Chaves is a problem, took it to Thurman. Very good fighter, and very young. Will bounce back huge.

Chaves only because Danny was losing up until the eye and despita that, some argue the 11th round (what some call "questionable" knockdown) was the difference. M

Personally I still wouldnt know who'd win in a rematch as pre "eye" Matthysse seemed to be clearly above and it was still competitive post. Still 50/50.

Thurman had trouble at first and Chaves gassed but he got it done! Chaves seems like a diamond in the rough as mentioned he was doing well until he seemed to gas... Dude was beating Thurman from what I remember and giving him all kinds of hell but Thurman dealt with it like a champ, recognize the fatigue and pounded the body, moved around and made him expend energy, etc. Great adjustment.

They both won, Lucas is a far superior fighter and was the 2nd best in his division. So Danny it is.

He had Thurman hurt in the fourth and neither fighter did anything for the next two rounds. So I can't call a four round fighter a diamond in the ruff. He's closer to a bum than a top prospect IMO.

Riight, lets ignore the fact that Danny wasn't even supposed to see the round for (eyegate). And only buthurts whine about the kd. (Legit by official boxing rules). Lucas took his loss like a pro, but his fans, lol.

Obviously it's Danny being how he's still alive. Lol most ppl never seen Chaves fight before Thurman and didn't give him more then a 50-50 chance to win. Lucas was suppose to murder Garcia in 3-4 rds.
