Well at least you tried. I disagree, but I respect your stance. My position is whatever it takes. GBP and TR aren't gonna joint promote right now. And its even tough because the networks have chosen sides. So in order to get the interpromotional match-ups. Who ever has the house fighter needs to promote the show. And in the end, the promoter of the B-side loses nothing. He loses nothing in terms of money. Actually, he makes a lil more because he's getting a step aside fee. He also gets the advertisement of his banners being a part of the show. So its nothing loss and the fight gets made.

Everyone on this thread seems to have lost their marbles a bit. From a purely competitive standpoint khan is the much more compelling fight. Stylistically he is the harder matchup for floyd. He is faster than maidana with hand and foot, likes to and uses his jab, is rangier and taller than floyd, and has much much better stamina than maidana. Maidana is much more deserving right now, but I'd rather see someone who has the tools and physical attributes to make floyd uncomfortable versus a guy floyd will definitely ko in the late rounds. He's way too slow and get's too tired. Floyd will walk him into shots all night and break him down. You all know this. Maidana has zero chance against floyd. Zero. We'd all like to see pac or bradley fight floyd but this simply isn't on the table until their contracts with top rank run their course. Also from the gbp stable the only other marketable commodity at 47 (unless floyd rematches cotto at 54 or 47) is garcia, and he doesn't want it at this time, which is a good call imo. So unfortunately this leaves khan who is much more marketable than maidana. It is what it is.....Comment

I can't get nothing from Pacboy/panama. Maybe you can help me out. Why does Pac need Arum to introduce him on press tour stops in order to fight Floyd. Especially when Arum is getting his money.Everyone on this thread seems to have lost their marbles a bit. From a purely competitive standpoint khan is the much more compelling fight. Yeah, but see whatever it takes does not go into that business I would imagine. The fans want "whatever it takes", not Bob and Richard. They could care less.Well at least you tried. This is, and always will be, personal. That's why it never gets made. No way in hell Arum steps aside, even if it gets the fight done. Too much pride and all that. It's pretty much a **** measuring thing between these two now. Nothing to do with making the fight.Comment

Hey Amigo...If ARUM Stepped Aside, Our Hero, Lance Roidweather,I don't know why he did it. But I'm not giving him a pass for that either. It's ****** either way, that's my point.
You can't just say Schaeffer is right in demanding Bob Arum step aside, when he is Manny's damn promoter, lol. I don't get why this is hard to understand!!!!!
Fighter and promoter are a package deal. Who the f**k is anyone to try and break that up. It's ****** to demand such a thing. Like I said, either the fight gets done with ALL parties involved or not at all. At this point I really don't care about it. It's passed it's due date to me.
But you can't just ask that someone on another fighter's team (especially a promoter), step aside. Da Fuq.
would have lot's of NEW EXCUSES, to AVOID The Fast Hard Hitting
Pac the Man, the Best Fighter of the Generation...
The issue isn't Bob, it's the Beating that Pac Administers,
and the threat of Losing that Wonderful "0", with all
the HUMILIATION, THAT GOES WITH IT!!!Comment

Well, Manny's contract is up at the end of 2014. So maybe we'll see the fight in 2015? But seriously, who's going to care by then. Just face it, it's over. Fight never happened when it should have, will never have the relevancy it once had. It's just done and over with.Hey Amigo...If ARUM Stepped Aside, Our Hero, Lance Roidweather,
