Did Ariza slip Maidana a PED?

The look on his face after ariza pulls the towel/napkin away is what makes me think that..

Yea somehow Ariza gave him a pill that takes immediate effect after administering, a pill that won't show up in the post fight drug test, and a pill that somehow gave Maidana a "second breath", despite the 12 round being only his 7th biggest punch output in the fight....

Seriously, this is getting more pathetic than people blaming Marquez for taking steroids against Manny. Let it go people, Broner lost.

Between the fifth and sixth rounds, the fight was halted, the lights in the arena turned off, and Showtime went off the air. Ariza then went to Broner's corner and beat him mercilessly with a tire iron.

First of all great fight between Broner and Maidana....possibly fight of the year. Maidana shut out the problem, cong****. But this video surfaced and I was wondering if someone with a clearer recorded version could clear this up a bit. Looks like in the instagram vid Ariza slipping something maybe.

****UPDATE***** comments lead me to believe it was a smelling salt, makes sense, thanks for clearing this up for me.

Look Maidana didn't need anything but Ariza could have ruined this moment for Maidana. Anytime you win you don't want any controversy or any doubt involved. The Texas commission has banned smelling salts and unless the test comes up as positive then we can't assume that it's anything. Watching the video though it looks pretty sketchy.

Only thing about that is that those are banned by the Texas Commission. I don't know too much about it but from what I've read it used to mask diuretics (not sure if its true or not but saw it online)

This isn't about whether or not you hate broner or not. It's just about what the rules are for that specific commission.
