prime marquez beats a prime pac, they actually never fought in their respective primes

the 2008 fight was probably as close that they got. marquez was old and had lost his legs by then.

Actually if you tabulated the first fight correctly when they were in their primes, Marquez lost to Pacquiao. Bad math resulted in the fight being declared a draw however. marquez couldn't and didn't beat a prime Pacquiao.

Your post is null and void based on that.

(That said, any win over Manny is a great one and JMM deserves credit for his KO of the ATG Pacquiao, even if it is an older, but still great version of Manny)

Nate Campbell and Yuri Foreman. Two of the most disgraceful ducks in the history of boxing.

The only people that had a shot a prime Pac are boxers that are not afraid to take a punch, throw a lot of punches, and don't keep going backwards.

Pac isn't prime today, and he still scares Floyd because Floyd knows he doesn't have the kind of punch that Marquez needed to stop him.

So many casual fans on here if they think Pac was prime vs Morales, he was still green

Amazing how he beat a prime Marquez green btw

Pac is Oscar/Hatton/cotto/clottey/margo was his prime state from a condition and skill point of vie

The answer is nobody today beats him

That won't stop ****** haters spouting dolly names though

All you need to know is that Pac was so good, Floyd ran like a God damn ***** away from him with a million excuses to duck him

Of today's boxers at 140-147? Just Mayweather. Marquez obviously is far from prime at this point, but we know how prime Whine Moanuel and Pacquiao matched up.

"When was Pacquiao's absolute prime?" is kind of a weird question. There was a very short window in 2008 where his physical talents and his skills peaked together. Still, I'd say Morales and Marquez 1 were both a prime Pac, even if his skills weren't the best he was freakishly talented.

haha best reply but let's not forget Morales just about beat a prime Pac but out of current fighters, the best being the likes of Floyd, Bradley, Garcia and Matthysse (only lookin at 140-147 as of now), could maybe mention Provodnikov, none of them beat a prime Pac. ***** boy mayweather come close, if they had 3 fights, then those fights could be split either way.

Other than that, Pac schools and possibly stops Bradley, which a half motivated version did anyway, stops Matthysse and beats Garcia up, only thing that keeps him competitive is his counter punching and chin.
