Should there be an asterisk next to the PAC-JMM draw?

Should there be an asterisk on the fight record of the Pac - Jmm fight since the bout ended in a draw and later on one of the judges from the fight came out in public and admitted he messed up on the scoring and it should've been a PAC victory?

No, becuase the error he made wasn't on something that wasn't agaisnt the rules.

He should have scored the 1st round 10-6, but he scored it 10-7.

    That's not illegal, just ignorant.

He later admitted he didn't know he could have scored it 10-6 (ignorant) when that's basiclly text book.

Marquez was lucky the judge was an idiot, but you can't go back and change anything because nothing he did was illegal.

I'm not talking about changing the record in favor of a Pac victory, but the fact that someone admitted that he should've scored it differently. Putting an asterisk next to a game, fight, what have you doesn't turnover a decision. Just like how I think there should be an asterisk next to the RJJ gold medal fight he had back in Seoul, there's no arguing who won that fight. But all they could give RJJ was some type of plaque.

No, I don't think so, because of the reasons I stated.

There's no precedent for such a thing, and although it was an error due to ignorance, it wasn't an error outside of the given rules.

It's like the 12th round of the 1st Hopkins Taylor fight. Even if that judge admitted he was wrong in scoring the 12th for Taylor, there's no precedent to add a remark to a fight result.

It just goes down as a contraversial result.

Either way, lots of people thought Marquez won, so stop crying.

              Where am I crying?

And more people had him losing than vice versa.

It was controversial and a draw is fair IMO.

Where did I suggest otherwise, and why would you tell me I'm crying when I was only explaining my take on the suggestion of the 1st post? I wasn't even talking about either fighter.

And all those people's thoughts are just that, however what is fact is that Marquez turned down the biggest deal of his friggin' lifetime and that's $750,000 just so he won't have to face the guy that he "beat".
