Styles make fights

The philly shell's weakness is volume punching upstairs and downstairs. Maidana put in hella work to the body. The 2nd knockdown was set up with a massive right hook to the body. The way he set up the first KD would work exactly the same against floyd.

Broner is faster than floyd and throws much better combinations and Maidana destroyed him.

Floyd will potshot and run but Maidana will get close because he's willing to take chances. Floyd would then clinch which is actually a mistake because Maidana throws very good punches with one arm free.

Broner's gotta fight his own battles. This would not be a good look for him, if Mayweather beats Maidana. He would be seen as a coward for not avenging the loss. Broner has asked for an immediate rematch, and this is what a warrior does after being defeated. Besides Mayweather is busy ducking and dodging Pacquiao and taking on Khan (2-2 in his last 4 fights).
