Should Broner get a chance for a rematch with Maidana?

No. He is not in Maidana's class. Maidana is too much for him. Maidana threw well over twice as many punches and he won every round by landing more and better punches in every round. A rematch would just be another one sided beat down. Broner can't cut it with the best welterweights. Maybe he could do OK at 135 since that weight is kind of weak right now.Comment

No. Marcos has put in work. He deserves a payday against one of the big dogs. There is no reason why guys like Ortiz and Guerrero had careers pay days when guys like Maidana have been putting in work. Him and his family should be rewarded for showing up to fight win, lose or draw.
Once Maidana gets a few pay days, I am sure he wouldn't have a problems with beating that ass again if Broner has worked his way back by then.Comment

Part of me says he should have to earn it and win a fight first, but part of me says he gave Maidana a shot and Maidana could return the favor. It really doesn't matter how we feel though, depending if there was a rematch clause in the original contract or not, Broner may present the best payday. And even if there is a rematch clause, Broner may choose to go elsewhere rather than going through that again.Comment

Juanma Salido all over again...
He should rematch Paulie and get a dominant win, then perhaps bring Matthyse up to welter to see if he can do better against that argentine.Comment
