    pretty sure Vit's gonna retire
he doesn't seem to want it anymore
even if he does, he's old and has shit to do outside of boxing
WBC is crooked as hell so you never know though
but his time is up, he needs to check out

I disagree, I think he does want it - which is stopping him retiring outright - but for sure yeah, he has bigger fights ahead with his political activities (with certain developments over today in particular likely going to increase his workload). I think its hard for him mostly to basically give up the Klitschko strangehold over the division, the lifelong dream was to hold the belts with Wlad simultaneously...and it is also a bargaining chip of sorts for his campaign image - remaining an active sporting hero while also being an opposition leader. However, even as a big fan, the waiting is a bit too much now, some developments would be appreciated by his fans and also boxing as a whole.

Holding that title to ransom. He's negotiating with David Haye.

Unlikely, Haye is way off recovering from his injury and even if he did he said himself he will unlikely be able to throw his best right hands anymore...if anything will be another excuse if the fight was made and then he lost. Anyway, doubt there is any buzz for that fight anymore, the fans are sick of Haye and there are other, more legit heavy contenders. I'm just hoping for some news, bad or good from my personal perspective it needs to be put out there for the good of boxing and the division.

it shouldn't have even got this far. hes really being selfish by waiting and waiting before making his decision. Id feel like a total **** if I was him. retire now and make it official

True, but some blame also has to be put to the WBC...they could have made him emeritus again (who knows, this may yet happen if he has any thoughts of still having at least 1 fight in the near future but is tied up too much with current political commitments in Ukraine) ...any announcement will be good at this point and the boxing fans deserve it. We shall see if anything happens in the next 24 hours, although I wouldn't bank on it.

Anyway, i'm off to sleep...keep voting guys and we will see if something happens tomorrow and who called it right!
