Haymon has been around boxing for a long time. He knew what he was doing when he signed Maidana. He knew what he was doing when he put Broner against Maidana. Haymon knew there was potential for Broner to lose and there was risk involved.

Golden Boy, before the fight, tweeted that one of them was going to hit the canvas. Broner tweeted back saying they must be crazy! That should tell you something.
