Maidana will be after bigger and better things. If he doesn't get the Mayweather call, and I think he will, I think we'll see Maidana fight Thurman.

I don't think Paulie wants a piece of either, I think we could see Paulie go after Guerrero or Porter next.

Here's what I would personally want, if Danny indeed doesn't want to fight Floyd next.

Mayweather vs Maidana
Garcia vs Guerrero
Thurman vs Malignaggi
Khan vs Ortiz
Porter vs Brook

I like Maidana, he's always been a favorite of mine, but I believe he is smart enough to at least avoid Thurman for one more fight. Thurman is all wrong for him. Probably a 60-40 fight for me at this point favoring Thurman. It's hard to deny Maidana's skill improvement though. He's would be a live underdg for sure.

But, Malignaggi is going to get the talked smacked out of him next. Can't wait.

I like Paulie but I do not want to see him fight anyone.

Idk. People who beat Paulie are people who just didnt care what he threw and just overwhelmed him later. Cotto, Khan, Hatton. Paulie can box but Maidana seems like the type if someone is hitting him with pillows hell just keep coming and coming until Paulies gone. But Paulie would put up a game effort.

I can see Paulie pulling the upset, not a match up I'm really looking forward to seeing.

Maidana-Garcia would have a good buzz, hell put Maidana in with Ortiz, Khan, or Porter. Those fights are better for me than this match up.

Maidana is in a good position right now after that titillating fight. There plenty of better fights out there for him than Paulie. Paulie would make it a snoozer, not to long ago that Alexander shut Maidana out. Maidana deserves a better fight.
