Comeuppance is the word of the day, thus is the fate of a pathetic and shallow mockery of Mayweather. I loved every second of that fight last night. The Maidana fight showed that Broner never had the least bit of substance. He wanted to be like Mayweather but wasn't willing to absolutely dedicate himself to the sport. The guy was bloated between fights, he looked like he was bursting out of his clothes. Broner was all about the self-aggrandizement part but nothing more.

I think it's crazy to say that he didn't work hard. He worked hard! And he took Maidana seriously. He just didn't have the skills necessary to win. He has a lot of things he still need to develop. They had a gameplan, but the gameplan was all wrong. People tend to mistake working hard as a definitive path to success. It doesn't work that way.

Exactly. If Broner didn't work hard he would have got KTFO last night. I don't see many guys out there that could take the punishment Broner took early and still be standing at the end of 12 rounds. Broner just doesn't have the experience or size to be fighting at WW right now.
