I wouldn't say he "got what he deserved." He lost a boxing match. Nothing more, nothing less. And what most of the folks that are so happy he lost as if they've accomplished something great in life don't realize. They're the reason AB was put on the pedalstal he was. Its not the people that like him that made him a lightening rod. Its the people that hate him. And what they also don't realize is. He's touched them so emotionally that he's still just as, if not more marketable now. Unlike Floyd, AB is a guy you pay to see get his ass kicked. And guess what? There's a good chance he's gonna get his ass kicked. Where as with Floyd. Even though they hate on Floyd and say he hasn't done this, that, or the other. They know deep down he's as great as he says he is and he's gonna win. Now, AB is almost a vunurable villian. Almost like a Mayorga x 10.

I'm not gonna say Chino shouldn't have been an underdog. AB had shown a superior skill set to this point. And we know how limited Maidana is. What couldn't be, or maybe I'll say was difficult to anticipate was whether AB's skill set was good enough to allow him to compete with and/or beat a bigger, stronger, more powerful guy. I know a lotta these folks around here have gone all Biblical when talking about what happen last night. But all wee found out was that AB isn't an elite fighter, and likely never will be. Nothing more, nothing less.

As for Floyd-Maidana as opposed to Floyd-Khan. IMO they both ****ty and pointless fights. And I really don't see how one could be justified as any better than the other. And honestly, I think all signs point to Khan being the better, and more competitive of the two in terms of how they would match up with Floyd.

To me, AB didn't show he had a superior skill set over Maidana before the fight. My only issue with the fight was that Maidana to me is a streaky fighter, and I wasn't sure which version of Maidana would show up.

Khan has no chin man. Unless you wanna see Floyd get a guaranteed KO, I don't see the point of that fight. How can Khan compete when he has no chin? We know Maidana has a chin at least.

Maidana showed everyone how to beat Broner, from now on every fight will be a lot harder for Broner. Broner better get to the gym quickly and fix the flaws in his game. If he cannot fix them, there will be more losses. Mayweather is waaay better than Broner in almost every way.
