What is more important, Punching Power or Punch Resistance?

If you had to choose one or another, what would be more important to have in boxing? It seems the p4p kings like Floyd have a mix of both, boxers like Malignaggi have very good punch resistance but have no power whatsoever.. however this sometimes is a good thing because he doesn't have to rely on his power shots so much and actually pressures the fighter to get wins UD.

I personally think punch resistance is better overall, power punches tend to not put enough work in with their jabs etc and only hoping to knock their opponent out for a win aka Matthysse. I'm sure there's many other examples of this..

punch resistance, so you can continue to outbox your opponent without the 1pKO power

What was it that Floyd said? You need heart and a good chin to be able to make it as a boxer.
