Everything that i expected to happen. Paulie showed AB can be touched but lacked the power to put him down. I knew if AB got in w/ someone w/ power he was going down. Gotta respect him not wilting and continuing to come forward. They can both miss me w/ that pumping ish but what a great way to shut ABs mouth.

The only thing that upsets me about this win is that my hope was to see Thurman vs Broner. AB will either come back stronger or never be the same ala Berto.

You are sadly optimistic. If AB had won, he was never going to fight Thurman. Those buffoons (Haymo & Schaffer) was never going to let him near Thurman. Maidana was suppose to be the sacrificial lamb and the launching pad for that fool because he is a bit limited skillwise but Thurman on the other hand is actually a skilled fighter that can bring the thunder. By the way, did anyone happen to catch Schaffer's facial expression when Broner was getting tagged. He had the look of "we fu.cked up". So sad, even though Maidana is also a golden boy fighter.
