I remember people telling me I was dead wrong when I said Broner's success in the lighter weights had less to do with skill and much more to do with size and his power. Everyone he fought outside DeMarco was able to get to him and hit him and have success, but Broner was able to rely on speed and power and size to wear them down.

This and the Paulie fight is what happens when he can't rely on speed and power and size to wear his opponent down. You see how severely lacking he is.

BS, Broner was being propped up by Showtime, he was HEAVILY invested in. I'm not trying to be the "im in the fight game so you don't know guy" but it takes millions to make these shows and the risk to reward is scary.

They really believed in Broner being the next big thing, so many people thought highly of him, believe me. He's a talented kid, just not the great fighter everyone really banked on.

Canelo was the same risk, but he paid off.

It was one fight, so he lost. How many boxers out there have won 3 titles at 3 weight divisions all at the age of 24?

Kid will be back, he has the talent, hope he gets the rematch. It was one hell of a fight.

We'll see how he bounces back from this.

He truly did not like Broner.

Anyone who was comparing him seriously to the next Mayweather was high on bird s**t. Broner had some solid wins over Ponce, DeMarco, and Paulie. But even in two of those, he struggled. I knew from the second he displayed no footwork or movement the first minute of this fight, he was losing. He lost a fan tonight in me, straight up clown.

Floyd acts like an idiot sometimes and says some dumb stuff outside the ring at times, but he's 150% focused on the task at hand in the ring. That's why he's the best fighter of his time.

Broner displays no footwork, has a terribly low work rate, and can't adjust beyond Plan A.

I give him Demarco and Paulie, but the Deleon fight was no solid win nor was it a clear victory for Broner. Most press had him losing that fight and if anything, it was a precursor to this fight.
