Hmmmm Why don't Maidana fans want a rematch?!?

Respect to Broner he took huge shots but just wasn't active enough. He Hurt Maidana a few times but just didn't follow up. Maidana fought a smart fight with his dirty smothering and headbutts, (looked a little like Guerrero-Berto with the BS KD's and ounching in holds) and I think AB wins a rematch

Broner needs to do some work. He got pummeled and it was not close. If he can't go down in weight he is in big trouble career wise. Imagine Thurman hitting him or even a guy like Berto/Ortiz. I love Maidana but he is not a naturally big guy and he pushed Broner around and never seemed really hurt, Broner can't hit hard enough to keep these guys away.

It's ok to have an opinion but until it happens it's not a fact...

You want to talk about dirty...from round 1 Broner was using his forearm to push off to Maidana's face..and the push off's? The fight was dirty on both sides...call it straight bro...even Broner's biggest fans have. AB has nothing for Maidana sorry to break it to you, almost every punch Maidana landed hurt AB and it was written all over his face...if the ref had put an end to all the clinching AB wouldn't have made it through 12 rounds. The only time Broner hurt Maidana was those two after the bell punches and he still almost got KTFO in the 12th

Broner has had shit handed to him, and after their performances, he should try to regroup and Maidana should try to get the biggest fight possible (Mayweather).

The only thing Broner showed today was heart. His defense is awful. A guy with his speed advantage--of hand and foot-- should have prevented most of those big shots from Maidana. My god--Josesito Lopez hurt Maidana worse than Broner did. An obvious point: Maidana can be hurt. In fact, he's been hurt against almost every good fighter he's fought against, especially to the body. If Broner didn't hurt him, he should hang up his gloves. That is especially true given that Maidana punches himself out frequently and has lapses of a round or so two or three times in the fight where he is inactive. And, Broner was as dirty as Maidana. The **** he was doing to Maidana's head was criminal. And, even Paulie noted that it was Broner's ridiculous holding of Maidana's arms that prompted the headbutt (which should have been a 2 point deduction, but the way and a warning that next foul is DQ). Can somebody please teach Broner how to defend against a left hook? Jesus, I've never seen Maidana land that punch as often as he did against Broner. Maidana is not a great fighter. He's got a pretty decent chin, but gets hit so often he almost always ends up hurt in fights. He's slow, not technically very sound but he's got great power. No excuse for Broner to lose this fight. No excuse.

Maidana weighed 161 tonight, dude is definitely a WW now.

I felt like I was watching Berto vs. Guerrero/Soto-Karass tonight. Broner got manhandled.

Don't think there will be an immediate rematch. Think maidana just found himself in the mayweather sweepstakes.
