The trainer wants Canelo back in championship contention immediately. Schaefer wants an action fight and feels Canelo might be better suited facing a guy who just took a crucial loss. Go with the championship fight Canelo.

Alvarez's team really should insist on Molina. It may not be the most fan friendly fight, but it's a belt and a much better name than Angulo. There's not much a chance Alvarez would look good against Molina, but there's also not much chance he loses.

Not Lara or Molina. Horrible style match ups for Canelo. He can't afford a robbery win or a straight up loss. I'm not saying he loses both necessarily but the outcomes would be in serious question. Lara looked fragile against Angulo though. Kirkland would be fun but he's chinny as ****.Last edited by Motofan; 12-14-2013, 06:30 PM.

I really think that Schaefer is pushing Angulo because he's an easier opponent than Lara or Molina. And because I think he wants to match Broner with Molina next. Canelo wants a belt. The way the WBA rankings look. A fight with him and Lara would likely be for their vacant title. So if Schaefer in deed wants to use Molina for another bull**** AB weight jump aka pick off the weakest titlist. I suppose GBP is gonna tell play hardball with Canelo and tell him if he wants a belt, he's gonna have to fight Lara. Which will likely result in Canelo bowing and finishing off Angulo at the top level of the sport.
