Yes Ariza, the environment that he got tested just happen to have a banned substance

I wasn't thinking "guilty" as much until I read this. Just seems like they sought an edge (and maybe got it) and they were caught.

I want to give Rios the benefit of the doubt, I think Freddie said it best, "strength coaches brought steroids into boxing," and they're hired to improve a fighter - Alex has a job to do and for his sake, a job to try and keep. I'm not entirely convinced Rios would purposely take such measures, but I do think guys like Ariza (and Memo) would, without the fighter's knowledge.

On the other hand, this stuff used to be legal until April 2013, maybe this is something Rios has always used before fights and prior to the Pacquiao fight he hadn't fought since March 2013. Perhaps he purchased it well in advance and never knew it became a banned substance, at which point he was only taking it because it was part of his routine...at least this seemed plausible until Team Garcia played the "I don't know" game.

For those making this about paquiao (lol) you have to understand even if Ariza gave this to pacquiao, it hasn't been illegal until this year (that's just assuming he had him take it).

And Freddie has been vying for Pac to get rid of Ariza for years now, the Rios fight with testing was agreed upon way back when Ariza was still Team Pac. It was months later that Freddie/Pacquiao let Ariza go. You guys know why Pacquiao asked for testing, we were all making jokes about it when the news came out...because of Marquez and Freddie's public su****ion of him. Rios just so happened to have worked with Memo Heredia the fight before and that's why they requested testing.

Pretty sure that diuretics have been banned by the sport for longer than a couple of months. Just because they're legal for the general public to buy doesn't mean they're kosher to use in professional sports.

The Banned Subs found was diuretics - as I recall Pacman didn't need to diet for a fight ever since the 2nd Marquez fight. Pacman fought men 1, 2, 3,4 weight divisions higher than he! And according to VADA Pacman is a Freak of Nature.

Looks like the Ariza Karma train is finally pulling into Station. There should be NO question that he should be banned from boxing if this turns out to be fact! Robert Garcia is doing a fine job of killing his reputation, credibility and career.

Caffeine is used as a diuretic too, what's your point? Whether a diuretic or not, DMAA wasn't used as a means of cutting weight in this case, but as an energy booster. Stop playing ******. This ingredient was legal in many over the counter supplements and prior to April 2013 would not have been tested for.

Lol at DMAA being on the ban list.

**** used to be in most preworkout drinks and was awesome. Original Jack3d FTW.

I hope people don't play this out to be some amazing substance that gave Rios a huge advantage

To be fair to him (not really) there are a lot of legal supplements with illegal ingredients in them that aren't listed. I said not really because as someone who isn't a SC specialist at that level even I know this. You would think he knows a bit more about the game than myself and I do...so I'm saying he's full of it.
