David Haye since he may have to retire for good, or so he says.
Donaire hasn't had a great year either. His next fight will determine whether he still has it in him to be a good fighter or not.

honestly, i dont know where trout goes from here. He is too fragile for MW and has already lost to 2 top jr mids. He doesnt have an exciting style so he will be hard pressed to get big fights for awhile

Take Rios off the list, dude got paid at least 4 million with a low tax rate. He may have been a punching bag, but he got PAID

Completely forgot about David Price. He's definitely up there. He was named the prospect of the year by ESPN, he was on his way to a big Klitschko fight and he lost to Tony Thompson twice by knockout and basically ended his shot a Klitschko fight.

all good mentions. i'd probably say rios. he made a lot of money, but he failed a drug test and lost twice. the pacquiao fight was a beating from a smaller man to boot. rios took hellish, one way punishment against pacquiao. he's lucky manny wasn't prime.
mares went from a p4p fighter to a knockout loss to an old jhonny gonzalez.
**** brandon rios. i hope mares comes back strong. he won't become a great or antying, but he's a good fighter who tries to do everything right. his run leading into the gonzalez fight was very solid.

off the top of my head
1. dawson, went from lineal champ to being ko1 and probably shot
2. jmm, has lost all momentum from the manny ko
3. Rios, lost to alvardo, lost to manny, fails drug test
4. Donaire, went from top 5 p4p, undressed by rigo, looked mentally shot vs vic
Any others????
Who has had the worst year
1 Rios..far & away
2 Dawson ..from lineal LHW Champ to also-ran
3 David Haye...looks like a coward,once again & lost out on 4-6 million
4 Seth Mitchell..from ? elite HW prospect to rebuilding on ESPN 2
5 Lamont Peterson..kept his belt while taking a beat-down,2nd tier at 140 now

Tyson Fury hasn't had a great one, only fighting the once due to the David Haye fiasco. On the cusp of challenging for world honours he doesn't need inactivity, he needed to push on. Fortunately the fights falling through with David Haye have still raised his profile, so he's not completely lost out.
