LONDON – Boxing bigmouth Adrien Broner has declared himself as the heir to Floyd Mayweather’s coveted pound-for-pound throne.

The three-weight world champion, who defends his WBA welterweight title against Argentine bulldozer Marcos Maidana this weekend, believes that his contemporaries are casting envious glances in his direction as he jostles to take over Mayweather’s hotseat.

To the greater powers of the entire sport of boxing, we've come together to ask that you please give Marcos Maidana the strength and the know how to KO Adrien Broner on Saturday. We ask that you please do this not to honor one man's selfish desire for enormous gains of e-currency, but that you do this for the greater good of our beloved sport of boxing, thank you.

A loss would be good for Broner. He's not actually that good, needs the humbling, and it would eliminate the pressure to actually live up to being the next Mayweather.

I don't ever see Broner taking over boxing!! For starters Shawn a Porter, Keith Turman and Kell Brook would beat Broner IMO, by KO unless he has a better chin than most of us think!

Ha, I'd also pay a ridiculous amount of money to see him in against Kirkland!!
