Comments Thread For: Marcos Maidana: Adrien Broner is Not One of The Best

Argentine puncher Marcos Maidana (34-3, 31KOs) does not agree with the experts who says WBA welterweight champion Adrien Broner (27-0, 22KOs) is one of the best fighters in the sport. Maidana, who has never been stopped in his career, will challenge Broner for his title on Saturday night at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. [Click Here To Read More]

I have never understood why fighters talk down their opponents. I wouldn't give a **** if I was fighting a 4rd swing fight on ESPN. I talk about my opponent as if I were fight Ray Robinson and Henry Armstrong all wrapped into one.

Most of them really don't mean it. They're just trying to get the opponent to fight emotional. It works on some fighters, others just tune it out.

Maidana seems too happy nowadays. like the fire is gone.

watch his old interviews when he looks totally pissed off and crazy.

getting with Haymon is getting him paid, which is great but I don't see the same fire. I think Broner takes it on some kind of BS stoppage.

don't forget the fight is in Texas

But when Floyd says so and so is a d or c class fighter, you're the first in line with your pom poms.

Broner is not one of the best AT 147 only cuz we havent seen him in the ring with the best AT 147 which will come here pretty fast if he beats dana but dana needs to realize he himself aint the best either but because weve seen him in there with the best and he losses so dana needs to stick to boxing let ab talk the talk.
