I have a hard time believing Maidana will land flush on Broner. I think Broner would have a much harder time against just about any of the other top WW's. Maidana is made to order, just like Paulie was. And just like Judah would have been had he beaten Malignaggi last week. Broner won't be in tough for another few fights.

Maidana lost all 10 rounds against Alexander to me. 10-0

People still call Lennox a bum, just like they call the Klitschkos bums and on and on and on.

Race has absolutely nothing to do with it.

And in regard to GGG and AB, they are both still in the proving stage. Thing is - Golovkin's amateur resume completely overshadows Broner's, that's why I believe he gets better treatment from a lot of pugilists. Broner's best wins are whom? Demarco... Paulie... ? The Paulie fight was close and AB has been beat in many fan's eyes already by the likes of Ponce De Leon. GGG, on the other hand, has impressively beat Macklin by way of stoppage and just beat a guy that was supposedly going to test him by tons of people on this very thread. When he beat the **** out of Curtis, he suddenly became a bum. But then again, Ouma really tested him. Moral of the story is:

RACE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
Pac came to worldwide stardom because of the wins he strug together against DLH, Hatton, and Cotto. Floyd was crush by media and fans for fighting DLH and Hatton. There's no way to dispute that. Hell, Floyd is still criticized for fighting the welterweight version of JMM that was arguably robbed against Pac. And who ICED Pac. Explain to me the logic in that.

As for AB and GGG. Who gives a **** what GGG did as an amateur. Ward won a gold medal and received a ****load of flack for the fights he took prior to Kessler. As for AB being beaten? Whatever. He didn't lose that fight. And as for the Paulie fight. I still don't see how you can score a fight according to the scoring criterias and have that think closer than 8-4. But whatever again. My question is, who has GGG beaten as good as Paulie, Demarco, or Ponce? A lotta people look good against tomato cans. AB is fighting real contenders. GGG has one fight against a legit contender. So again, I don't see how one could criticize AB's resume and nott criticize GGG's.

Pac was extremely popular before he fought any of those three. He had already earned the notorious name "Mexicutioner". Floyd came in OVERWEIGHT against the welterweight version of JMM. A lot of folks gauge a blossoming pro boxers early career on their amateur record, ala Lomachenko or Rigo (and look how good Rigo is and Loma appears to be - it is a legitimate gauge.) Ward is consensus P4P #2 with bragging rights for his resume for pretty much any pugilist you ask, even though he is African American. [Hell, he is pretty much my favorite fighter at the moment.] I watched the Broner-Ponce fight live and I 100% think Broner lost so using him as an impressive win is like an oxymoron in a debate with me. Paulie is not the best either because he didn't look very impressive against Paulie (to me and loads of other unbiased fans). I don't criticize either fighter's resume at the moment (except Broner's 'win' over Ponce, I do think that was bull****). I just think they're pretty equal in terms of quality. Both have ONE GOOD STOPPAGE WIN against an opponent who they didn't tower over (Broner - Demarco... and GGG - Macklin)

        What else ya got?

I don't think Maidana's punch is going to hurt Broner. I don't think he punches quite as hard at WW.

Iron chin, great recovery powers, a sledgehammer right, a ******* jab.. A warrior's heart. Demarco was hype.. Overrated. Maidana is actually underrated.

Broner and his fans are gonna regret that Broner made this choice to fight Chino on a hot streak so lightly
Understandable. I wasn't sold on Broner at all at the time, so that's probably why I felt that way. I'm still not completely sold on Broner. I agree that Maidana is underrated and I would not be surprised one bit if Maidana wins the fight

Yes it does and Golovkin is also 7 - 8 years older than AB. He has no excuse for not having a higher level of competition at this stage other than being brought up slowly. Especially with ALL that amateur experience. When AB is 31 his resume will dwarf what GGG's currently is.

Gotta admit bro there was some veeeeery su****ious things going on if you've followed the behind the scenes of the Pacman PED accusation saga.

Sadly true. I'm currently trying to find the Three Billy Goats Gruff and the bridge with all the Trolling going on lately.

At the rate Broner is going, with the way he lets himself go in between fights, the dumb **** he does outside the ring, considering how responsible he is with his personal life (# of kids he already has at his young age) etc etc etc - in 8 years, he will have already lost and faded into the abyss of fighters who talked and shocked their way into the limelight.

If only we didn't have to wait to see it actually happen so I could rest my case.

Broner isn't great. I'm sorry. He should already have a loss, and the dude is not the next Floyd.
