I recall a while back one of Floyds team members saying that the Pacquiao fight will NEVER happen. When asked to reiterate he just kept repeating that it will never happen and how some fights just aren't meant to be and this is one of them.

Yeah like Manny's team would be dumb enough to put something like that in an email for all the world to see. Atlus has always had an agenda against Pacquiao and has never hid it. Let's see those emails buddy.....

Also, I doubt Floyd in Manny would be face to face in a meeting like this, their teams know what it would take to get the job done. Most likely they would offer Top Rank a fee for Manny's services and allow the TR banners to be part of the promotion and viewable on fight night but Golden Boy would handle things. At some point Bob Arum needs to step aside and allow the fight to be made. Personally, I stopped caring about this one after it fell through in 2012, both guys declined after that and it would just be a shell of what it could have been...

This means nothing. They've talked before, what really matters is if Bob Arum is open to actually making the fight. They know Floyd calls the shots, they know he's been penciled in to fight May 3rd, and instead of calling Floyd out for May 3rd, calling up Golden Boy to sit down and make it, they say Pacquiao is coming back in April and his three possible opponents are Bradley 2, Marquez 105, and Provonikov.

Yeah, cause they got a bunch of geniuses on team Pacquiao. This is guy who owes millions to two different countries. This is also the same guy who once signed two contracts, each with different promoters.
