Obviously the latter. Have you missed all those articles about "Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao", "four time Trainer of the Year Freddy Roach" and "astute promoter Bob Arum"? The guy is Filippino himself, and is biased towards his countrymen and anyone related to them. I can't blame him, it's a natural sentiment.

Classic thing is Chris John never would have fought either Donaire or Walters, and the WBA never would have made him. Now he loses and the guy who beat him has to fight who they say.

            Warren

Is that 3 time olympian Warren still fighting bums in 4 rounders?

This is the issue here. So far the WBA has had no problem with having super and regular champs simultaneously in several weight classes. Why mandate a fight between them now? Do they even have rules concerning this? Is the "regular champ" supposed to be a glorified #1 contender or what?

I am 100 percent for "super champions," a fake designation anyway, fighting the "champions" the WBA decides to name. Thing is apparently the WBA only enforces this when somebody they have protected for years, like John, loses. They didn't require John to fight, for instance, Caballero or Gamboa, when they were "champions" below him. I bet they will likewise keep Shumenov from ever having to fight anyone with a pulse now that they have designated him a "super champion."

Vetyeka is a South African from East London so nobody cares about him. Believe me he may be ill-disciplined but he is talented. I think he is realizing that time is not on his side. He can beat all these guys if WBA thinks they want to get reed of him. they are in for a big surprise.

Interesting. Never seen Vetyeka myself, but if he's the goods like you say, him and Walters should be a good match up.

Good for him. He deserves some paydays for going overseas and kicking John's butt.
