What does it take to get a TD, and what exactly is a TD. I belive it stands for Technical Decision, but how does one arrive at such a place? Is it, for example, when a fighter is cut from an incidental butt, and the fight goes to the cards after being stopped?
What constitutes a TD?

That's it. After four rounds, they go to the cards. If the cut happens inside 4 rounds and the fight is stopped, it will be ruled a No Contest.Originally posted by BadMagickWhat does it take to get a TD, and what exactly is a TD. yeah that's exactly what it is. Refer to Julio Gonzales vs Montell Griffin. Gonzales got 3 pretty bad cuts I believe and was winning the fight after round 4 so he basically won (even though Griffin was coming on strong)Comment

Speaking of the fight, what a bull**** decision that was. Maybe Gonzales won, I don't know, I had Griffen winning it myself, but come the **** on, all 5 rounds to Gonzalez? I don't think so, not by a long shot.Originally posted by ItWasWrittenyeah that's exactly what it is. Refer to Julio Gonzales vs Montell Griffin.
