I hear you but Provodnikov is a natural stalker. He puts a lot more pressure on fighters than Thurman does. Bradley's the type of fighter to test Thurman's will. We haven't seen him pushed to the limit yet. I doubt Thurman would fold but I already know Bradley won't. It's an interesting matchup.

Great post. Thurman is more of a ****er to me, not a stalker seek and destroy type guy like ruslan.

Hate to say it, but no one knocks Bradley out. It just doesn't happen.

I dont think he will ever be p4p material, but he will be a tough out for anyone at welter.

            Reminds me of chico corrales

on a scale to 1-10 i rate him about a 7.5, lots of potential
Chico Corrales would have never boxed up a guy like Zaveck. He would've made it harder on himself, and slugged it out.

Thurman's not a one track minded fighter.

Not saying they fight exactly alike, but just similar style especially how they throw their power shots..

Yeah, they're both explosive power punchers, but Thurman throws his shots more on the move.

Corrales was more of a stalker type and threw his short combos in a compact way.

But yeah, they're both dangerous punchers.

Provo's a plodder, with no defence. Thurman is mobile, and he covers up when he needs to. Bradley makes mistakes, and there's obviously the size difference there too. KT is big at the weight, capable of mixing it at '54. Thurman is no master boxer, but he's a decent one and his power gives him the edge over most of the smaller 147 fighters imo.

positives: great power, chin, footwork, counters, ring iq, nd can fight off back foot which is hard to do for a fighter w his skill set. also has a prideful entertaining bravado next to broners, nd he calls people out.
negatives: sometimes throws too wide nd sometimes leaves himself open after combos & leaves himself open w his awkward lunges, sidesteps & feints (i guess to draw his opponent in maybe?)

now a 7.5 to 8.. after soto karass, depending on how he wins 8.5 to 9
