If Solis came in at 225-230lbs and fought like he fought in the last 3 rounds through the fight, he would have won.

But unfortunately for him, and us watching someone with as much talent as him, he will never ever be 225lbs and he won't fight with desire and heart for 12 rounds.

Wanted to see Solis win, but glad Tony got the nod. Is that weird?

Not at all. NSB fat jokes officially belong to Arreola and Andy Ruiz.

No but I'm very happy for him I like the guy a lot.

He's really come on in recent years.

Wlad knocked him out in the rematch and everyone thought he was done, then then goes on to stop Price twice, have a good showing in a losing effort to Pulev and a win over Solis. All in their hometowns.

                All hail The Tiger.

But let's hope he doesn't rematch Wlad. He should just fight all the up coming guys.

Wilder, Fury, Arreola, Chisora, all of those guys he should fight.

He'd a solid test for anyone of the contenders.
Thompson vs Fury would be great.

Solis's lost his biggest fight against the cheeseburger. An in shape Solis would have handled Thompson quite easily. It's clear to see he's far more skilled his inactivity lost him the fight.

Wow, what a ****ty hw fight. The best word to summarize that fight would be "medicre." Thompson was clearly the more active fighter but his punches seemed 'half-a$$' as he pushed most of them out. Solis on the other hand was never able to cut the distance and get in punching range and wasnt active enough to impress the judges. Also lacking in this borefest was any semblance of hw power.

I had it 7-5 Solis but it could have gone either way. You can tell Solis would have dominated if he had good conditioning, but that's part of boxing, he's just not cut out to be a true elite fighter. I'm happy for Thompson, he's a funny likeable guy.
