Big-hitting Marcos Maidana is determined to knockout brash-talking Adrien Broner when the pair clash in Texas this weekend.

The Argentine assassin, who is famed for his ferocious knockout power having put 31 of his 37 opponents to sleep, is extremely confident he can add the name of Broner to that list on Saturday night in San Antonio.

Despite being regarded as the heir apparent to Floyd Mayweather's throne, Maidana is in no doubt that Broner is a false pretender to that title and has been keen to show him why, ever since both men locked horns during the Shawn Porter and Julio Diaz card in September

Ponce is crafty, knows how to work angles, and has a very hard rhythm to set to. Maidana?

Look man, I'm not a Maidana hater, or a Broner lover. Just calling it how I see it.

People like to say power isnt the end all be all and which I agree it isnt, but neither is speed and athleticism ex: karass-berto . Guess We will just find out saturday.

We will. War both guys! I actually want Broner to be as good as he says he is, so it brings some life back into boxing, and I wouldn't mind if Maidana cracked his chin, so I can see some meltdowns on this board.

Me and my homeboy were talking about this earlier. I think AB could have stopped Paulie if he had gone to the body in the early rounds. And seeing how Khan damn near stopped Maidana with a body shot. It seems like that's something AB could exploit. But I'm not sure that will be wise, especially early in the fight. Its gonna be damn near impossible for AB to miss Chino's head. And I believe that Chino is slow enough that AB will be able to make him miss and counter him more times than not. So IMO going to the body may not be the smartest move for AB because it will allow Chino, who's a solid pro, to time him and counter over the top with hard shots to AB's head. If he ever hurts Chino or has him in a position where he's trying to finish him. Of course, going to the body will be great. But I think he needs to be very careful, especially early, trying to touch Chino to the body too often.
