Will HBO buy Klitschko-Leapai on Feb 8?

did you watch the hbo broadcast of his last fight?
the broadcast team all but guaranteed that he would never be back. they still mention how bad that fight was, and it was months ago
he'd literally need to fight his brother for them to let him back on hbo. either that, or some exciting american fighter with a shot to beat him. that american doesn't actually exist

Agreed. Its 2013. I don't need HBO to enjoy good boxing.
Agreed as well. If you don't like him find someone that can beat him.Comment

HBO is in the business of entertainment, not doing what is right for boxing. they don't have to broadcast wladimir fights.
if wladimir wants to be on hbo he's going to have to be entertaining. hbo doesn't need him. he doesn't need hbo, either.Comment

Yup. I understand and accept the business of boxing but I don't always have to agree with it.
But like I said, luckily its 2013 and I don't need HBO to watch Wlad fight. I can watch live boxing from all over the world.Comment

I doubt Wlad will care if HBO opt against showing his fights. He'll still fill a soccer stadium and generate plenty of interest in Europe. The guy is head-and-shoulders above the competition; he's not ducking anyone.
There's no pleasing some people.

"Fill soccer stadiums" - I have said this once and I'll say it again - they give tickets away for free. They are not on PPV and they are not shown in all European countries. The interest in Europe for the klitschkos is average at best.
Pleasing is easy. Drop the belt and fight Fury or Pulev or Chisora or Stiverne. Someone who's actually fought someone in the division. Or who's a name who would actually generate interest. This fight is equal to or worse than Pinaeta.Comment
