    Geale/GGG in 2014?

    Dmitriy Boyko ‏@Boykofinance 7 Dec
@RealDealGeale why not face GGG? Tough hill to climb?

    Daniel Geale ‏@RealDealGeale 7 Dec
@Boykofinance he signed to fight Adama already. Hoping for mid to late 2014

    Daniel Geale ‏@RealDealGeale 8 Dec
@Burraston93 @AzeemTM101 My goal at the moment is to fight guys like Sturm, Murray, Martinez, GGG, Quillan, Macklin etc

I know he'll take Sturm over GGG, but he seems willing.
I don't know how he'd take Geale over GGG as he'll be the headline and get paid more
    Shaw on the other hand.....

lmao atleast it is a known name instead of washed up no names. Quillin also has much less experience than GGG who is a supposed amateur and sparring legend so I give him more slack for learning on the job fighting a few bums.

          ???
How many retired bums has he "preyed" on?

Doesn't seem fair you're giving Quillin a pass for fighting a guy on a three year lay off and almost 42 years old when you're ragging on GGG for fighting retired bums.

            LOL!
            Really?
Just accept Quillin did the exact thing you tried to criticize Golovkin for.

Dude hasn't fought in years and was still snapping his head back.

              http://www.*********.com/Boxing/geal...olovkin-232944

Former IBF/WBA middleweight champion Daniel Geale talked to *********.com about Felix Sturm’s victory over Darren Barker. He said the German has got his hunger back but he would love to fight Sturm again and give him the opportunity to avenge Geale’s win over him. Geale also said that WBA champion Gennady Golovkin is beatable and he is the middleweight to do it

“Felix Sturm did what he had to do against Barker,” said Geale. “He hurt Barker early. Barker did not look at his best and got hit a couple of times and looked like he wanted to turn it up. I did hear he hurt his hip which is a major injury. He did complain about something. I’m not sure if Sturm is a better fighter then when I beat him. He might have his hunger back that maybe he lost. He had a lot of defenses before we boxed. My style will always be a problem for him with my movement and fast and accurate punching.

“I’d love to fight Sturm for the IBF title but would also like to fight Gennady Golovkin for the WBA title. Curtis Stevens gave Golovkin problems. He done it easy against Mathew Macklin, but again my style would be a problem for him. I have had the experience of boxing the best middleweights in the world. We boxed in the amateurs and I was never hurt but he is a great tactician. I would love to win back the WBA title again. I know I can beat Golovkin and Sturm!”

Former middleweight champion Daniel Geale called out WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin in an interview yesterday, saying that he’d “love to fight Sturm for the IBF title but would also like to fight Gennady Golovkin for the WBA title”.
“Gennady Golovkin is beatable,” Geale told *********.com, “and I’m the middleweight to do it. Golovkin done it easy against Matthew Macklin, but again my style would be a problem for him.”
Tom Loeffler, Golovkin’s promoter, offered a quick jab of a response to Geale’s comments.
“Geale can fight Golovkin anytime for the WBA belt he gave up,” he said. “We actually made an offer to his promoter for the fight on February 1 in Monaco, but it was turned down.”
Geale was stripped of the esteemed WBA “super” title back in January for avoiding his mandatory fight against Golovkin, instead choosing to fight Anthony Mundine for a $2 million pay day.
“I am aware of my mandatory obligations,” said Geale. “However, I felt that the challenge from Anthony Mundine was an opportunity to settle the score once and for all.”
The belt was subsequently given to Golovkin, who will make his 10th WBA title defence against Osumanu Adama on Feburary 1 next year. Loeffler has told Geale’s management they can have the bout after Adama if they are still interested.
There is a bit of an oddity here as Golovkin’s team asked for the Geale fight – and Geale being the IBO No.1 fighter could have quite easily made the fight happen.
Geale, however, chose to wait until Golovkin announced a willing opponent in IBO No.3 raked Adama to publicly to call out the current WBA/IBO champ. It’s a bit disappointing that Golovkin announces his next fight and a week later Geale says he is now interested.
It looks likely that the Felix Sturm versus Geale rematch will take place in Germany next year as it makes much more financial sense for both parties.
Sturm want’s to avenge his loss to Geale, and for geale this will present another opportunity to take another world title from the now four-time world champion – and to get his old IBF belt back where it belongs.
Now he wants to fight Golovkin huh?

                  Jloro is a Golovkin hater.

I think Barker's loss may have Geale considering GGG as he might have lost his option. It would be a good fight for HBO.

I think Geale still has a shot at the IBF if he goes to Germany... Sturm might want to avenge the loss.
Who knows though...Golovkin's door is always open..up to Geale to walk through it this time instead of closing it
