Lol I didn't even bother hitting him up after that crazy comment. Only reason they want Cotto is because the chances of Canelo losing aren't as high as if he fights a fresher and slicker Lara. Cotto will help out a lot with the ppv buys too.

while i agree Cotto isn't the fighter he once was, i can't agree with the rest of your statement.. i actually believe the fight would be 50/50.. yea Canelo is bigger and stronger but he has NO boxing skills and he is actually slow compared to Cotto.. if Cotto sticks to a game plan of boxing and not brawling and going to the body i can see him winning by points.. lets not forget both of these fighters have scrappy stamina so that would be a major factor too.. I'm positive that Roach would have a great game plan for Cotto going into this fight.. but its a much more even fight that most Cotto haters are making it out to be...
