Former champion Cristian Mijares (48-7-2, 23KOs) will return to action on Saturday night in a stay busy fight in Mexico City. Mijares is looking to secure a mandatory shot at WBC super bantamweight champion Leo Santa Cruz in 2014. Santa Cruz will also be in action on Saturday, when he faces Cesar Seda in San Antonio. Mijares' opponent for Saturday has not been announced. In the co-feature, WBC silver lightweight champion Daniel Estrada (31-2-1, 23 KOs) will go up against Hugo Armenta in an eight round contest. The card will be televised by Azteca 7.
